So… Tyrese’s girlfriend liked Paul Walker?
You won’t believe what she admitted while on Instagram Live with the actor/singer!
Tyrese, who started dating model/influencer Zelie Timothy in 2021, used Instagram Live earlier this week to elaborate on his relationship with her. The Baby Boy icon explained to viewers that he bonded with Zelie via DM when they were asked how they met.
Zelie swiftly followed up by saying Tyrese wasn’t her “type” and confessing she had initially been more interested in his late Fast & Furious co-star, Paul Walker.
While rubbing Tyrese’s head, Zelie remarked, “My type was actually Paul Walker. Rest in peace. But [Tyrese] wasn’t my type at all. And my type is not ‘white.’ I’m just saying I was more interested in Paul.”
Naturally, the “How You Gonna Like That” songster was not feeling Zelie’s comments. “Don’t touch me,” he instructed her. Nevertheless, she went on, “Even when I met [Tyrese], I was like, ‘Eh, he’s kind of old. I just like his smile. It’s pretty cool. His personality… his personality was OK.”

“This went really bad. This just went really bad really fast. I’m getting off Live,” Tyrese furthered. However, his lady was far from done.
“He didn’t understand the Instagram model thing, so he would always talk down on Instagram models,” claimed Zelie.
Tyrese brushed that off and reiterated her previous statement. “So you wanted the homie; you didn’t want me. You said I’m old.”

Zelie followed up, “I never said I wanted the homie, I just said he was cuter. You know all this already. I wasn’t your type either. So relax. And, yeah, so now we’re here, and it’s an actual, somewhat of a love story, which is crazy.”
While some Instagram users presumed the couple was kidding around, others termed Zelie’s comments “disrespectful” and “mean.”
