In a recent clip uploaded to her joint TikTok account with daughter North, Kim Kardashian appears to have paid a subtle ode to her estranged ex-husband Kanye West.
The mother and daughter travel companions have been having a great time in Japan, and the 42-year-old reality star made sure to post pictures of their trip to social media.
The founder of SKIMS utilized Kanye’s 2007 song “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” as the background music while posting a ton of images with his daughter North, 10, and their pals. Kardashian shut off her comments on the image sequence video.
More homages to Kanye were evident in the photos as North was shown sporting a look reminiscent of what the rapper wore when promoting his studio album The College Dropout in 2004.
North sported a pullover with orange and blue stripes, a big gold chain, and wide denim jeans. She wore her hair back and accessorized with glasses and black boots.

Fans concluded that the young West was paying homage to her father’s stardom by sporting the jumper from Kanye’s collection.
One user posted, “North West got Kanye’s college dropout fit on and looking just like her daddy lol..” before someone else chimed in; “Despite what anyone has to say that girl loves her father!”
Before they started dating, Kardashian and West were close pals. Prior to getting married in May 2014 at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, they became engaged in October 2013.
Before their divorce was finalized in November 2022, the power couple consented to joint custody of their children, citing “irreconcilable differences” in their divorce documents.
