Will Smith appeared to be reacting with a “official statement” on Instagram a week after Jada Pinkett-Smith initially disclosed that she and the Fresh Prince had been apart for years.
But the majority of Will’s response video is satire over the media craze around Pinkett Smith’s recently released memoir, Worthy.
The Philly native starts to say something, then lets out a dramatic sneeze. “I’ve got something for you. Here’s the thing: My opinion…”
The angle of view then drastically pans out to reveal other computer-generated landscapes from throughout the globe, giving the impression that there are many more serious issues facing the world than just the relationship of one famous couple.

The Saga of Will Smith & Jada Continues
Despite giving the impression that they are a united couple, Jada disclosed in an interview with “Today” that aired on October 11 that she and Will have been apart since 2016.
Even during this year’s Oscars event, when Smith won the coveted Best Actor award (he was afterwards banned from attending the Oscars for ten years) and smacked host Chris Rock on stage for cracking a joke regarding Pinkett Smith’s hair loss, that image persisted.

Recalling a Red Table Talk interview from 2020 in which she admitted to a “entanglement” with R&B star August Alsina, Pinkett Smith maintains that “I did not cheat on Will Smith, no matter how sad he looked at that table” despite their detachment.
While discussing Worthy, Pinkett Smith also disclosed that she has experienced suicidal thoughts: “I couldn’t figure out why this beautiful life that I had wasn’t satisfying. I was driving through Mulholland and looking for cliffs to drive over,” the “Nutty Professor” actress said on Live With Kelly and Mark.
