“Lil’ Weezy” just seems to keep getting in trouble. Lil Wayne facing additional charges after getting caught with some illegal materials in his prison cell.
Lil’ Wayne is facing additional charges because he was caught with contraband while in prison, namely an ipod charger and headphones in his jail cell garbage can, wrapped in a bag of potato chips. An Ipod is an illegal at the facility, which only allows AM/FM radio.
Wayne was obviously trying to hide the materials before the search, which took place this morning, but didn’t hide it well enough. Somehow the Ipod itself was found in another inmate’s cell and the police are investigating the two inmates connection now.
Lil Wayne is serving a one-year sentence for gun charges at Riker’s Island. Wayne is being charged with an infraction of possession of contraband. It is yet to be determined what the consequences of his actions will be.
