Singer Avant was in NYC for a special performance. We caught up with him to quickly discuss his latest single, “Special,” from his upcoming album, The VIII.
The single is available now, and the album will be out on September 25th.
In the beautifully-written song, Avant sings, “If I could take away all the pain you ever been through / I’m hoping that I would be the one you would wanna run to / ‘Cause there is no doubt in my mind that you’re the one for me / Now I got to get the whole world to see / How much it means to me.”
Amid his NYC visit, he also delivered a stellar performance of the track that we won’t ever forget. It was great to see classic Avant back on top of his music game, reminding us of just why we grew to love him in the very beginning.
