Jennifer Lopez had the hosting duties this year’s American Music Awards. She took advantage with an eye-popping opening performance. Lopez started off the night by killing it with slow and sexy version of “Waiting for Tonight.” Afterwards Lopez stopped singing and announced to the audience that tonight isn’t about her, it’s about the music. At that point she broke into a dance performance that mashed up all of the year’s biggest hits, including “Uptown Funk,” “Feeling Myself,” “Where Are U Now,” “I Can’t Feel My Face,” and “Hotline Bling.” The video also catches a perfect reaction from Nicki Minaj when Jennifer performs to the rappers “Anaconda” track.
