Saturday used to be an off-day in the music industry, but guess there’s no better day to drop a surprise video than on a lazy Saturday afternoon. A week after Drake and Meek Mill released back to back diss tracks, the QUEEN, Ms. Beyonce has released a new video for a new song. The Beyonce FORMATION video begins by declaring “Bitch I’m back, by popular demand.”
Beyonce continues reps for the South throughout. The bridge goes, “My daddy Alabama/My Momma Louisiana/Mix that negro with that creole make a Texas Bama.” Her dance moves are on point and as she reminds us throughout, she slays!
This is an anthem set to take us right through the Summer. Hopefully she performs the song at this weekend’s Super Bowl 50. Coldplay headlines but Beyonce is set to make an appearance as well. The video for the Coldplay and Beyonce collaboration “Hymns For The Weekend” was released last week as well.
