Yandy & Mendeecees Marriage Not Official???

Yandy and Mendeecees Marriage Technically Isn’t Official…
But We Have An Explanation

As if their relationship isn’t exciting enough already as it is, the Love & Hip-Hop Power Couple, Yandy and Mendeecees, have us all at the edge of our seats yet again.

As we all know, Yandy Smith is a talent manager, formerly with Violator Management working with stars like 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Jim Jones and Missy Elliot among others. She’s a power player and with brains and brawn.

Last year on VH1’s, Love & Hip-Hop, Yandy and Mendeecees, aired a romantic wedding special, showcasing their love for each other “for better or for worse.”

The worst as has already happened, but Yandy is still down for the love of her life.  Mendeecees, was sentenced to eight years in federal prison for drug trafficking. The father of four spent quality time on family vacations and partying with loved ones before he was imprisoned and the wedding to solidify the relationship was supposed to be one of his last acts as a free man.

To our suprise though, Yandy dropped a bomb on a recent episode of Love & Hip-Hop saying, “I have a union with Mendeecees, but I did not go into a partnership with Mendeecees and the government,” she said.

What does that actually mean?

According to The Shade Room, the couple couldn’t seal the deal with a marriage certificate.  According to the source they have reapplied for a marriage certificate and it should be approved soon.

To the untrained eye, it could be viewed that the two were trying to get married to celebrate their dedication to each other and their children before he went off to complete and eight-year bid.  Can’t help but wonder though, did the government prevent them from finalizing their nuptials to interfere with their spousal privileges? Guess we will never know.
In the mean time though, the couple has re-applied for the certificate and we will keep you posted when the marriage becomes official.
