New Music: J Cole High For Hours
A new track from J Cole High For Hours revealed tonight is a sign that Cole has more to come following his December release, 4 Your Eyez Only. The unreleased track doesn’t appear on the album, so its interesting that he’s already out with new music.
“High For Hours” is produced by Elite and Cam O’bi.
4 Your Eyez Only was recently Certified Gold. Though the album has done well commercially, critics and some fans have not had the best reviews for the album.
“High For Hours” is a great track to get the bad taste of the album out. It’s a conscious effort to talk about the current political climate and what’s going on in the Black community. Cole also talks about a conversation he had with President Obama for the second verse before a deeper, introspective verse three.
