Soulja Boy & Chris Brown Trade Shots Over Karrueche via Social Media
Only three days into the new year, rapper, Soulja Boy has already started another one of his infamous ‘internet wars’. However, this time, the ‘war’ seemed to have stemmed from a simple Instagram like. Yep, an Instagram like.
The 26-year-old rapper is alleging that Chris Brown called his phone, talking crazy after Brown noticed that Soulja liked and commented on Karrueche’s picture on Instagram. For those of you who may not know, Karrueche is Chris Brown’s beloved EX-girlfriend. Since the two split–due to infidelity, Brown has previously been seen trying to win his lady back on quite a few occasions. In the past couple of weeks, we’ve seen him dropping comments on Karrueche’s pictures, as well. But, from what we can see, she has moved on–while Brown is still vying for the love of his queen.
Though the two are no longer together, he still makes it very clear that the lovely lady is off limits. About a year ago, Brown came at another rapper, The Game, for the same exact thing. But, I think we can all agree that The Game is the king of pettiness!
Let’s just say, Soulja Boy doesn’t fall too far behind, either. Recently, the rapper commented heart eye emojis underneath one of Karrueche’s pictures. Obviously, Brown got wind of it and made a personal phone call to Soulja, letting him know off the rip that he has no shame in fighting for what’s his, literally.

As we all know, Soulja Boy takes any opportunity to gain publicity–good or bad! So, this definitely didn’t come as a surprise. To thicken the plot, he carried his flirtatious antics to Karrueche’s Twitter, quoting one of her tweets with kiss emojis.

But, it didn’t end there. The slander continued.

Chris Brown then responded earlier this morning, through an Instagram video. In the video, he states that Soulja Boy is a ‘snitch’.
“Any ngga that wanna telegraph bullsht because they need a look, they broke, and number one… you a snitch!” He states, appearing to be the least bit of bothered.
Soulja Boy reposted the video to his Instagram, and he didn’t have kind words to say in the caption.
The drama prevailed, resulting in the rapper and the singer going back and forth with each other, through Instagram posts, since last night. While Soulja Boy may have talked guns and gangsta sh*t, Breezy took the high road, giving his hilarious commentary on the whole situation.
Shortly after the singer posted his ‘classy comebacks’, he posted a screenshot of a video text message from Soulja Boy, leaking the rapper’s number in the process. The comments went haywire, with fans asking for the full video to be posted. Brown immediately fulfilled the requests.
Of course, Soulja Boy became heated, all over again, attempting and threatening to sell Brown’s number to #TeamBreezy. He also recorded a video, saying that Brown doesn’t take care of his 2-year-old daughter, Royalty, and how he’s a ‘crackhead’–which is the reason why ‘Karrueche doesn’t want him’.
Following his accusations, Soulja Boy deleted those posts. As did Brown deleted some of his.
For the sake of the new year, we’re hoping that these two can squash their beef! After all, we’d hate to see them fall out over a chick who’s not with either of them.
