Teyana Taylor Reebok Partnership Sets Off 5411’s Re-Release
Teyana Taylor is officially the newest member of the Reebok Classic team! The singer, actress, dancer and fitness enthusiast has joined the sneaker brand as an ambassador in the latest move for the continuously growing star. The Teyana Taylor Reebok partnership is a strategic move to promote the re-release of a classic Reebok sneaker.
Teyana Taylor officially announced the partnership with Reebok Classic for a long-term partnership over her social channels. Reebok launched the “Free Your Style” campaign for the rebirth of their Freestyle Hi sneakers.
The Freestyle sneaker (commonly known as the 5411’s) was originally developed in 1982 and gained fame as the first athletic sneaker designed for women’s fitness and quickly became one of the most iconic sneakers in the business. Teyana will bring a fresh spin to the OG colorways in black, red and white, and will also support additional launches throughout the year.
Other ambassadors for the Reebok brand currently include Future, Gigi Hadid, and Top Dawg Entertainment Recording Artist Kendrick Lamar.
Last year Teyana Taylor partnered with Reebok for her very own red version of the Question Mid as part of the 20th Anniversary of the iconic Allen Iverson sneaker in 2016, called the “Question Mid Teyana T.”

Commenting on the partnership, Taylor said, “Reebok has always been a brand that’s been very special to my heart ever since I was young. Freestyles were all I wanted to wear growing up so it feels like everything’s come full circle with this partnership. The 5411’s really opened the door for creativity in women’s fashion, it gave permission for sneakers to be feminine. I’m honored to be the face of the Freestyle campaign for everything it stood for yesterday and what it still represents today.
