Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana Split Leaves Many Questions, Few Answers

Recently news was released about Pop icon Janet Jackson splitting from her billionaire boo. Jackson is reportedly divorcing Wissam Al Mana; her husband of 5 years due to his control issues.  While the two have yet to make an official statement to confirm or deny the rumors, it is clear that the Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana split is moving forward.

Jackson and Wissam Al Manahad very private marriage ceremony back in 2012, which wasn’t revealed until a year later in an interview. The marriage was rather low key and the couple managed to stay out the headlines for most of their marriage. News of the couple resurfaced in October 2016 when Jackson shared the news of her pregnancy with the world. The pregnancy announcement excited Janet Jackson’s fans, as this was the couple’s first child and Jackson’s first born at age 50!

Janet Jackson gave birth to her son, Eissa, on January 3rd of this year and once again the couple went back to being extremely private.  Now comes news of the Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Manahad split.

According to sources and various outlets, Janet Jackson felt that her husband had become extremely controlling throughout their 5 year marriage and it only got worse during her pregnancy. We all know Janet Jackson as the super sexual music icon who’s never been shy to show a little skin here and there; but that changed once she tied the knot. Jackson changed her costumes, dance moves and anything else her husband, Al Mana labeled too provocative.

It would seem that Al Mana wanted a religious housewife and in return Jackson gave him that peace of mind for most of the relationship. The few photos that surface throughout her pregnancy showed her covered from head to toe, which was her way of respecting her husband’s Muslim culture.

The Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana split is quite unfortunate, but rather timely. According to reports Janet and Wissam have a prenup in place which states she’ll receive up to 100 million after the marriage hits the 5 year mark. Conveniently enough, it’s been just over 5 years since the couple tied the knot in 2012. Not only will Jackson receive the $100 million dollar jackpot, she could also be cashing in up to another $100 million due to the new baby in he family, as their was a clause that said she would get more if they had a child. (Thanks a lot baby Eissa).

Over the weekend the billionaire businessman released a sentimental letter about the singer on his website.

“To the most beautiful person in the world, thank you for your divine love, your eternal support and for being my best friend,” he wrote next to a black-and-white picture of Jackson.

“I love you so much, inshallah [which means “if Allah wills it”],” the note continued, “we will be together in the Great Forever x.”
