VH1’s Baller Wives Season Premiere Set For August 14th
Get ready because VH1 is taking things up a notch with an all-new series. Premiering on Monday, August 14th, Baller Wives is the newest addition to the network, and these ladies definitely have lots of drama to unfold. The anticipated Miami-based reality show focuses on the chaotic lives of well-known pro athletes and their wives, as they juggle between family, work, and love while living a lifestyle different from most.
Our TV screens will be blessed by the appearances of pro athletes, such as Michael Vick, Brent Grimes, Asante Samuel, Chris Chambers, Julius Jones and Channing Crowder.
Michael Vick is a pro quarterback who has been married to his wife Kijafa Vick for five years. The couple shares two gorgeous daughters and a third child on the way. Kijafa is the leader of the pack and tends to carry everyone’s secret.
Chris Chambers is a retired wide receiver for Miami who is married to Stacy. The two are married and expecting a second child. Stacy is at odds with Kijafa and has formed her own alliances within the group as a response.
Brent Grimes is a Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback who has a wife named Miko who is also trying to build her career again, after being let go from her long running sports radio show. The couple has been married for seven years and has a son.
The two-time champion, Asante Samuel is looking to start a new career boxing. After leaving behind professional football, his wife Jeniva thought her worries about her husband’s safety was finally over.
Channing Crowder is married to Aja and played as a linebacker for Miami. He is now the host of a sports radio show. This pair gets tangled in drama after Miko gets fired from the same station that Crowder works.
Julius Jones and his wife Kelly Jones have been married eight years. They have two sons together who Jones is against letting playing football despite him being a former Dallas running back.
Crystal is friends of Stacy and Miko. She is a young mother recently turned single, but ready to get back into the dating world. Former video vixen, model, and self-proclaimed party girl Emmaly is single, also. She is a single mother who co-parents one of the children with her famous ex and baby daddy.
Lastly, we have Megan, the professional basketball player, known for playing overseas while she lives in Miami with her two daughters away from her husband.
