Tidal is in the holiday mood. The streaming service has announced that starting on Christmas Day it is opening up its platform to everyone for a 12-day free trial. The streaming service, owned by Jay-z is always looking for new subscribers and this holiday season they are hoping to lock in some new listeners for 2018.

People taking this opportunity to preview Tidal will have 12 days, starting Monday (Dec. 25) until Jan. 5, to explore the streaming service. Possible subscribers will not have to provide their credit card information to gain access to the platform and will only need an email address. The trial will give access to Tidal’s full platform via mobile app, web player and desktop app. Recently Tidal has launched a new app for Apple TV and Android TV so users can use the service on the larger screen.

“Heading into 2018, we’re looking forward to giving TIDAL members more access and a high-quality soundtrack to everyday life,” Tony Gervino, TIDAL’s vice president of culture & content, said in a statement. “We value what music and music culture means to people and trust this preview will give music fans a taste of the elevated music experience that TIDAL is offering its customers.”

Tidal will release exclusive content every day of the 12 day trial. The first known exclusive content will be a new Rap Radar Podcast interview with Nipsey Hussle, and will continue to provide content from new original shows, music videos, playlists and documentaries. To add on, new users will get a chance to win concert tickets.

Give Tidal a chance you will enjoy it.
