G-Eazy is set to release his new album, The Beautiful & Damned, on December 15. The news of this forthcoming album came out a few weeks back, but recently the fans received the official release date and new music.
The news of the release date was revealed on Twitter along with the cover art, which shows the rapper against a black background with parts of his face in the shadows and the visible part of his face bruised up while wearing his signature leather jacket over a bloody white T-shirt.
A minute long cinematic trailer for a short film was released with the cover art for The Beautiful & Damned. The new short, titled the same as the album, is an Apple Music exclusive and directed by Bobby Bruderle. Bobby Bruderle has worked with G-Eazy before directing videos for “Downtown Love,” Let’s Get Lost’” and “I Mean It.” The trailer shows G-Eazy arguing with his lady about his life as a Hip-Hop star and his personal life. Scenes of fast cars, money showers, and beautiful women all appeared in the trailer to show life as a famed Hip-Hop star. The trailer was covered by a G-Eazy and Halsey’s song titled “Him & I.”

When G-Eazy first mentioned the album, he said it was a double disc album to express the two different sides of his life. Themes of love, fame, and the fastlife will be presented on this new album. The album is listed on iTunes with 20 tracks.
Expect to catch A$AP Rocky, Cardi B, E-40, Kehlani, Halsey, Charlie Puth and Anna of the North all on this album. A$AP Rocky and Cardi B are on the single “No Limit” which is running up the chart as it sit number 24 on the Billboard’s Hot 100.
The titled for the album, The Beautiful & Damned, was inspired by a F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel of the same name. Pre-orders are up now and a limited edition fan bundle can be purchased through the album’s website.
