On this Caribbean influenced single, “Warning,” we find Toronto newcomer Ebhoni telling her male companions that if they have her sex that they will fall in love. “Warning” is a bouncy track that is produced by Salva, the Los Angeles based producer behind the song “Old English,” that featured Young Thug, A$AP Ferg and Freddie Gibbs. In the video for “Warning,” directed by Christine Boachie, you can catch 18-year-old Ebhoni partying in a dancehall like festivity.
The single was released in two versions, with a day version and a night version. The day version of “Warning” is produced by Jon Fx and features a verse from Jamaican singer Charly Black.
Ebhoni started in music at age 10, covering songs on YouTube, since then she has amassed millions of views on her music and visuals. In 2017 she released a EP on SoundCloud titled Mood Ring.
