Harlem bred emcee Jim Jones has been promoting his latest project for a couple months now and it is finally here. The Diplomats boss linked up with production duo The Heatmakerz, for what might be his best project since 2006’s Hustler’s P.O.M.E. (Product of My Environment). The energy matches the production and a slew of New York rappers make special guest appearances at just the right time. The Jim Jones El Capo album was released on May 31, 2019.
A couple weeks ago Jim thanked Cam’ron on instagram for helping him complete the project and making sure it released it time. Cam appears on three tracks on the project and the pair sound like it’s the mid 2000s all over again with their impeccable chemistry.
Fat Joe, Maino, Jadakiss, Fred The Godson, Dave East, Fabolous, Rick Ross, Maino and Curren$y are among the other artists that make guest appearances on the project.
