ABC might have their hands on a long term successful series with their new upcoming show, ‘Queens‘. The Queens series stars Eve, Brandy, Naturi Naughton and Nadine Velazquez among others. We now know that the series premieres on Tuesday October 19th.
There’s no official word on when the series is set to premiere, but it looks very good at first look. The series trailer was shared by ABC along with the trailers for a few new upcoming series’ they plan on releasing.
Queens series synopsis
Estranged and out of touch, four women in their 40s reunite for a chance to recapture their fame and regain the swagger they had as the Nasty Bitches—their ’90s group that made them legends in the hip-hop world.

The show is executive produced by Zahir McGhee, Sabrina Wind and Tim Story. Zahir, who also serves as the writer for the series has worked on ‘Scandal‘ and ‘For The People‘. Sabrina has worked as an executive producer for ‘Desperate Housewives‘ and her career as a producer dates back almost 20 years. Tim Story directs the series. He’s directed several films including Barbershop, Ride Along, Shaft and Think Like A Man among others. This is his first series.
