Actor and singer Trevor Jackson has really been on it in recent years. The singer has released several projects in recent years, but he hasn’t gotten the recognition he deserves because he is seen as an actor first. Still, earlier this year he released his most recent project, The Love Language. The album was released back in March via EMPIRE. It featured production from the Aristocrats, Hendrix and more. Maybe the best song on the project was “Bouts To Be,” definitely my favorite BY FAR, on a really really good album.
This week, Trevor revealed the visual for what I believe to be his magnum opus, or the best track of his career thus far. “Bouts To Be” is his “Naked” or “O,” Marques Houston or Omarion respectively. It’s his “Maybe I Deserve” or “Pony”… Tank or Ginuwine if you’re a baby reading this. Hopefully its the track that gets listeners paying a lot more attention to him and going back to listen to his older projects.

Trevor can also be seen in the series, “Grown-ish“. Watching him on the series really helped me get into his music. In 2019 he starred in the movie Superfly as well.
