Kanye West already revealed that his forthcoming album Donda 2 will be out later this month, with an expected release of February 22nd. The “feature of the year” is here as well. “City of Gods” was leaked on New York’s Hot 97, hours before the official release. The song is a collaboration between Fivio Foreign Kanye West and Alicia Keys, teaming Ye with a couple of artists he’s worked with before at different points in his career, but the song is officially a Fivio Foreign single. Fivio had previously addressed the Kanye verse in a tweet.

Fivio Foreign appeared on the original Donda album, on the track “Off The Grid” and has seemed to share quite a bit of comradery with Ye in recent months. The Brooklyn bred drill rapper has made quite a name for himself since his break out single, “Big Drip” and this latest single, an ode to Brooklyn over a drill beat is set to be one of the biggest singles out of New York in a long time.
Fivio and Pop Smoke were great friends and they came into the game at just about the same time, but Pop was killed before he was able to enjoy his success. Fivio Foreign is seemingly able to do everything Pop didn’t get a chance to.
Playboi Carti adlibs also appear on the “City of Gods” track.
