Oops! It seems like Ray J has some more tea about his Sex tape with Kim Kardashian for us.
Ray J has come out to reveal his side of the story on how the infamous tape with Kim Kardashian got released in his new & exclusive interview with the Daily Mail.
He claimed that it was released intentionally after an agreement he had with Kim Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner. According to him, Kris contacted Vivid Entertainment.
People have rumored for years that Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner masterminded the release of the sex tape. The only difference is neither Kim, Kris nor Ray J verified the claim until now.
His interview comes after he commented on a post containing a clip from Kim Kardashian’s new reality show on Hulu. The clip had Kanye West on his way to retrieve an unreleased second sex tape. It seems the narrative of the episode angered him enough to spill the beans.
“I mean all of this is all a lie,” Ray J said. “From the beginning of us putting this sex tape out, this has been the biggest lie in the industry in the history of entertainment.’
The love and hip hop star did not like the allegation made in the episode. Kim joked about him sticking a dildo in her butt while she was asleep. To him, it made him look like a rapist and he doesn’t want that type of reputation. He showed text messages he sent to Kim Kardashian confronting her over it to which she replied ‘It was clearly a sarcastic joke and I was laughing while I said it.
Ray J told the Daily Mail how he has been villainized for years over the sex tape
‘I’ve sat in the shadows for over 14 years allowing the Kardashians to use my name, to abuse my name, make billions of dollars over a decade-and-a-half talking about a topic I’ve never really spoken about.’
The 41-year-old musician sought to clear any misconception when he said
‘I’ve never leaked anything. I have never leaked a sex tape in my life. It has never been a leak. It’s always been a deal and a partnership between Kris Jenner and Kim and me and we’ve always been partners since the beginning of this thing.’
The father of two explained the inspiration for the tape as something he suggested. After seeing the success of Paris Hilton’s sex tape, it got him thinking and in turn, Kim Kardashian embraced it. He said ‘It was something we did in Cabo on a trip for her birthday and it was something extra we were doing in the hotel.’
Contrary to what was portrayed on Hulu’s The Kardashians, he said ‘She kept them all – she had to go find that tape [Sex Tape Cabo #1] and then present it. I never had a tape in my possession in our whole relationship.’
‘I never had a single one at my house – she had them at her house. She’s always had all the tapes in a Nike shoebox under her bed.’
Apparently, Ray J handed over personal pictures to Kanye, not a sex tape.
‘I’m sure she has bigger beds now and better boxes. That’s how it all came about. Once I pitched the idea to her, just playing around a little bit, that’s when she jumped on the idea, talked to her mom and it was out of my hands from there.’
In addition, Ray J admitted the emotional toll he has suffered due to the ripple effects of the sex tape. He may have signed the contract with Vivid Entertainment but without legal advice.
Ray J also allegedly shared text messages he had with Kim Kardashian where he tells her to clear the air or he will be forced to.
