At this point, we are all well versed on the hip-hop platform Verzuz since the pandemic made us stay in the house in 2020. Each time a new Verzuz battle comes upon us it is preceded by some expected trash talk from the scheduled participants. And, this Verzuz battle is no different! On Thursday, June 23, 2022, Omarion of B2K and Mario will face off in their Verzuz battle, and yesterday it was announced that Ray J and Bobby V verses Sammie and Pleasure P, will be the “undercard” battle. Once Twitter users heard that, they took to Twitter to let us know how they feel causing Ray J to start trending all across the platform for various reasons.

The trash talks between the 2000s R&B artists began with a little friendly trolling from Mario asking Omarion who convinced him to do this Verzuz battle.

Then later on in the day as more social media users got wind of the addition of Ray J and Sammie to the Verzuz battle, more trash talk ensued. Sammie posted a screenshot of a text conversation between himself and Ray J about the upcoming battle, in which Sammie encourages Ray J not to start with his timeless banger “One Wish”. Insinuating that Ray J wouldn’t have any more songs left!

A few hours later Ray J went live and included Bobby V, Sammie and a few others. Sammie and Ray J seemed to get a little upset with one another when it came to being acknowledged and respected, as neither wanted to be out boosted.
Twitter users are all over the place with how they feel about this upcoming Verzuz battle and the addition of Ray J, Bobby V, Pleasure P and Sammie.
