Yung Miami Speaks on City Girls Breakup Rumors: “I Feel Like We Solid Together”

City Girls breakup rumors have been the topic of discussion for quite some time now, but Yung Miami recently put those to rest during an episode of her new REVOLT show, Caresha Please.

The 28-year-old sat down with her group member, JT, and their friend, fellow rapper Saucy Santana, for a candid conversation and laid it all out on the table.

When addressing the subject of a possible split between the celebrated duo, Yung Miami said:

“Me personally,” she started off. “I feel like we solid together; we grew up together. Like, I’m not thinking like, ‘Oh, I’ma do this sh*t without JT.’ That’s not my intentions; that’s not what I’m on. I feel like people love us as a group, and we stronger as a group. We stronger together.”

Since the City Girls’ big break back in 2017, they’ve become one of the most dominant female forces in today’s rap industry.

However, following JT’s prison stint, which took place from 2018-2020, Yung Miami’s attempt to hold the Florida-based music pair down (while JT was away) prompted fans to promote the idea of Miami’s solo career.

It didn’t help that, subsequent to JT’s release, along with the group endeavors, they’ve also done things on their own as well.

But… obviously, the City Girls are here to stay–no matter what people say!

Miami later posted the clip to her Instagram and shared her thoughts on the divisive narrative that their audience and the media have tried to push in the past.

She wrote in the caption, “Ppl are constantly trying to pin us against each other & convince us that we should go solo. We are stronger together we grew up together it’s deeper than rap you MY SISTER WE FAMILY and that’s something Money can’t buy AND I’ll never let money or the industry come between us!”

In the short video, a seemingly-teary-eyed JT is seen sitting quietly on the sofa across from Yung Miami. It’s quite clear that the two are inseparable, and we’re so here for it!

JT recently clapped back at someone who claimed her relationship with artist Lil Uzi Vert was causing a rift in her friendship with Miami.

& what make you think this goofy?) BEFORE me & uzi was ever official Yall said we wasn’t close & had to keep explaining I lived in a separate state then her! I don’t have to be on the internet pretending to please y’all & nothing can bite me in my ass IM PAID
