Kanye West, now known as Ye joins the TikTok family!
Everyone knows Ye for not being a fan of social media so this definitely comes as a surprise especially after he deleted all his posts on Instagram. Well, just Ye being ye again.
Last year, his daughter, North opened her personal account North started a joint TikTok account with Kardashian under the name “@kimandnorth”. It was later revealed that Ye knew nothing about it.
The father of four openly expressed his disapproval of his kids owning their own Tik Tok profiles. He said in an interview, “My children ain’t going to be on TikTok without my permission.”
Well, Ye himself joined TikTok. He officially opened a Tik Tok account and in less than 24 hours, his account got verified.
He registered for the platform on September 18. In his first post, he shows a video in his car as he drives to his ninth studio album. Although he doesn’t appear in the clip, fans get to join Ye as he groves to the ‘Jesus is King’ album. The 3-minute-long clip included hit tracks like “God Is,” “Closed on Sunday,” and “Selah.”
Should we be expecting new music from the rapper? Anyways, the GOAT reminded us that he still is one of the most prominent rappers alive while his clip has over 800k views and accumulated 257,000 followers.
Let’s just hope Ye’s debut on TikTok is a good thing and he is able to stay .out of controversies
