Chrisean Rock‘s brother Mookie has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in their hometown of Baltimore, MD in connection with an October shooting.
Fox Baltimore reported the arrest of 31-year-old Obadiah Malone, also known as Mookie, on Thursday December 29, 2022. According to police, the 39-year-old male victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds but ultimately survived.
Malone wasn’t suspected on the same night of the October shooting, but an investigation eventually led police to him. After obtaining a warrant, the suspect was arrested and formally charged on Tuesday December 27, 2022.
The day before his arrest, Mookie blasted his sister’s boyfriend Blueface, claiming he is not as rich as he thought he was.
He also makes reference to Blueface knocking out their father during the family altercation claiming the L.A. rapper used brass knuckles to accomplish the bloody face his father received.
Chrisean seemingly responded to her brother Mookie, stating that if he had a problem with her boyfriend Blueface then he needs to address him and not her. She went on to say how much she hates her family, but refuses to put her brother “out there like that”, even though he took the time to air her out.
The news arrives just after Mookie made an appearance on Chrisean’s reality show with Blueface entitled Crazy In Love. On the episode, Chrisean’s family including her sisters, brother and father approach Blueface to check him for not treating her right.
After a lot of back and forth between the various family members and Blueface, Rock’s father is seen approaching him to reiterate the feelings of the family. A short exchange later, her father punches Blueface in the mouth causing emotions to heighten.
After a few minutes of security keeping the two sides apart, Blueface seemingly slips away and gets to Chrisean’s father who has his back turned and knocks him to the ground bloodying his mouth.
