The Roc-A-Fella co-founder has been ordered to hand over $30,000 to the alleged victim in her controversial lawsuit against him. If you didn’t know, Dame Dash was accused of sexually assaulting photographer Monique Bunn in 2019 but has since been cleared of the counts.
Bunn sued Dash over claims that he inappropriately touched her while she was sleeping at his house during a video project. She later added defamation charges after the Hip-Hop mogul told that she supposedly charged thousands of dollars to his credit card without permission.
According to reports, a jury sided with Dash and threw out the sexual assault allegations on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, following a four-day trial. However, the jury did find him liable for defamation and awarded Bunn $30,000 in damages.

Bunn was seeking tens of millions of dollars in the lawsuit and said that Dash failed to give back a large collection of her photos. She wasn’t awarded any damages over the unreturned property.
Last week, Bunn testified that Dash groped her during a 2019 video shoot at his house. While sleeping in his daughter’s room, she reported, “[I felt] something on the left side of my like lower back onto my butt, down my thigh.” Bunn also testified that Dash’s claims about her stealing money from him had destroyed her career.
Dash reportedly dismissed the allegations as “ridiculous” in his testimony and denied any misconduct, calling Bunn a “con artist” for making false accusations.
Following the verdict, the lenswoman concluded, “[I’m] thankful to the jury for the result on my defamation claim, [and I’m] pleased I can move forward.”
