VH1 Couples Retreat will see the premiere of its new season on MTV. The Paramount-owned network has announced that it will be airing a new season of the hit reality show, which formerly aired on MTV’s sister channel VH1. Here’s what you need to know about MTV Couples Retreat season 3…
During the course of this season, there will be a total of six new couples working on their problems and attempting to strengthen their relationships.
The activities will present the pairs with tasks on multiple fronts, such as trapezing with former Cirque du Soleil performers, survivalist training in the bush with an expert ninja survivalist, and herding cattle and untamed bulls, to name just a few.
Executive producers for MTV Couples Retreat include Sitarah Pendelton-Eaglin and Jubba Seyyid of MTV Entertainment Studios; Lashan Browning, Donna Edge-Rachell, Paris Bauldwin, Daniel Wiener, Mimi Adams, Michael Carrozza, Gavin Lee Jones, and Alissa Horowitz of Antoinette Media; and Michelle Kongkasuwan.

Cast members of MTV Couples Retreat are Ronnie and Shamari DeVoe, Yung Joc and Kendra Robinson, Apollo Nida and Sherien Almufti, Bre-Z and Chris Amore, Falynn and Jaylan Pina, Fatboy SSE, and Tiana Kimbrough.
The first episode of the new-and-improved season is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Additionally, actress/life coach A.J. Johnson, with motivational speaker Tony Gaskins, will co-host the series.
