It seems like Lil Tjay just can’t stay out of trouble. The talented rapper, known for his hit tracks and undeniable charisma, has been arrested again in NYC. The whole ordeal was captured live on Instagram! Talk about dramatic and unexpected!
According to TMZ, his lawyer, Dawn Florio, said that Lil Tjay was busy shooting a short clip for an upcoming music video when the unthinkable happened. Out of nowhere, the cops arrived at the scene in Manhattan and took the rapper into custody for reckless endangerment.
In the gripping footage that has been making the rounds on social media, Lil Tjay can be seen in the heart of New York City, standing his ground as he defiantly tells the officers not to lay a finger on him. “No, bro. Hell no. What’s in the car? I don’t know what’s in the car,” he passionately protests. “Don’t touch me. There’s no firearm in the car.” The tension rises as multiple officers restrain him and slap those cold, metal handcuffs on his wrists. It’s a scene straight out of a movie!
Now, this isn’t the first time Lil Tjay has found himself tangled up with the law. Just earlier this year, in January, he faced another encounter with the police. During a traffic stop in the Bronx, en route to shooting a music video with Ice Spice, law enforcement discovered a handgun in his vehicle. He was swiftly booked for weapon possession, and held on $30,000 cash bail and $90,000 bond by the NYC Department of Corrections, leaving fans bewildered.
But Lil Tjay’s legal woes don’t end there, in summer of 2022 he was shot seven times during a robbery in New Jersey. Thankfully, he miraculously survived the ordeal. It seems like this talented rapper just can’t catch a break, constantly making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
