Tory Lanez transferred to state prison to continue serving the 10-year jail term for the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion back in 2020, which he was convicted for.
He maintained his innocent stance all through his trial but the jury wasn’t having any of it. Lanez will now be spending close to a decade behind bars at North Kern State Prison in Delano, California, for negligent discharge of a firearm, assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and the crime of carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm.

He was checked into North Kern on Tuesday, 19th of September. A facility that houses 4,000 inmates, many of whom are dangerous murderers. Not only do the cells at North Kern house criminals, it has also become an avenue for crime itself.
Ramon Escobar, a convicted serial killer killed his 53-year-old cellmate, Juan Villanueva, a pedophilic sexual assault offender, in February this year. In July, another inmate, 25-year-old Ricardo Saldivar was found dead in his cell.
Although the facility is well secured with an electric fence, there have been reported cases of escapes from its walls in recent years. There is also the ongoing case of a former inmate who was found guilty of attacking a pair of officers while in prison.
Between being kept amongst vicious murderers and violent inmates, we can only fear for Tory Lanez’s return… if he returns.
Tory’s mugshot was released yesterday, 20th of September and he did nothing to hide his displeasure on. His disheveled hair couldn’t hold a candle to the murderous glare he gave the camera. We can only guess that he already knew that he was getting thrown into the lion’s den.

10 years is a long time but Tory has the opportunity to keep busy and not be involved with in-jail crimes — if he takes up the $0.08 unskilled or $0.3 an-hour skilled labor option that the prison offers. Will he take it? Anything to distract him from the official Lanez prison diet, which was recently revealed.
