New photos of Fetty Wap in prison have surfaced, showing the musician “holding up pretty well” inside.
Media personality and manager of Blueface, The Game, and other artists, Wack 100, posted two images of the “Trap Queen” rapper kicking it with his prison yard clique on Tuesday (October 3).
Wack captioned the Instagram post: “Looks like @fettywap1738 holding up pretty well on the federal yard. Just got these sent to me from his team. Salute #Itchy & the #NJ rusta’s.”
The New Jersey native is sporting immaculate white trainer sneakers, a black watch, and a gray long-sleeve shirt with sweatpants and a matching skully hat.
The 32-year-old singer and spitter has been behind bars since last year and was accused, among other things, of possessing and conspiring to distribute drugs like fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine.
Fetty Wap Prison Photos Emerge Online
The hip hop artist has been detained since August 2022 when his bail was revoked due to claims that he threatened to shoot someone while on a FaceTime chat and flashed a gun.
Willie Maxwell II, aka Fetty Wap, admitted to planning to distribute 500 grams of cocaine or more. When “Trap Queen” was released in 2015, the prosecution contended that he had used his position to “glamorize the drug trade” and was earning millions from music.
The rapper was first detained in October 2021 on federal drug accusations at Citi Field in New York City as he prepared to perform at Rolling Loud Festival.
Following his arrest, the FBI seized two 9mm handguns, a rifle, a.45 caliber pistol, a.40 caliber pistol, ammo, and $1.5 million in cash in addition to 2 kilograms of heroin, 16 kilograms of cocaine, and fentanyl tablets.
