Busta Rhymes Entire BlockBusta Tour Cancelled, No Explanation Given

The highly anticipated Busta Rhymes Blockbusta Tour 2024 has been cancelled! Fans are disappointed because the tour was supposed to kick off next week!

The BlockBusta Tour was set to find Busta Rhymes hitting 21 North American cities over 24 dates. The tour, which was set to commence in San Francisco on March 13, has been canceled without explanation, according to Ticketmaster and Live Nation event listings. The tour was anticipated to traverse major cities across North America before concluding in New York City on April 21.

This unexpected development comes amid a trend of cancelled tours since 2023.  Ja Rule recently announced the cancellation of his European tour, The Sunrise Tour, celebrating the 25th anniversary of his debut album, Venni Vetti Vecci, although that was because his prior felony conviction would not allow him to get approved for a visa into the UK. The cancellation for him also occurred just a week before Ja was supposed to hit the road.

The BlockBusta tour was in support of the most recent Busta Rhymes album, BLOCKBUSTA, which featured collaborations with renowned artists such as Chris Brown, Burna Boy, and Young Thug. The album was released back on November 24, 2023. While sales disappointed, the album was still good enough to make it to Number 10 on the top BillBoard albums list for the week, keeping alive a streak of top 10 album releases for the emcee.

What happens if you have tickets to the Busta Rhymes BlockBusta Tour cancelled dates??

Fans who searched on ticketmaster for tickets to the event can now only see a series of cancelled dates.  No refund announcement or rescheduled dates have been revealed.

Despite the abrupt cancellation, Busta  Rhymes, 51, has yet to address the situation on his social media platforms, prompting speculation among fans.  Hopefully everything is okay with the veteran rapper.
