According to reports, Carter dated then-15-year-old Jacquez Sloan when she was 14. Sloan was even Carter’s date to her all-white affair for her 16th birthday.
A woman claiming to be Sloan’s sister gushed on X (formerly Twitter) in 2013, “My little brother Jacquez Sloan is dating Reginae Carter! I’m definitely hanging with the wrong side of the family!”
Photos of Carter and Sloan’s adorable courtship floated around social media for a while back then. Later, Sloan went on to become a college football player.
Joshua Brown (2014 – 2017)
Carter’s relationship with Sloan seems to have overlapped with her relationship with Joshua Brown, whom she was also seen with in 2014.

YFN Lucci (2018 – 2021)
Carter’s explosive, on-again-off-again romance with Atlanta rhymer YFN Lucci had to be her most controversial to date.
The dynamic duo met at a Fendi store and blew up the entertainment scene when they were caught together in Los Angeles during All-Star Weekend in 2018. At the time, Carter was 19, and Lucci was 27. Their age gap sparked a major debate online, along with the fact that the “Everyday We Lit” artist had four children by different women.
Chatter surrounding their situation strengthed when the lovebirds garnered not-so-good publicity, with rumors of Lucci’s alleged infidelities and inappropriate behavior making their way around the media.
April 2020 saw the lovers calling it quits, but they were back together by November. In 2021, police arrested Lucci on a slew of charges, including the involvement of a murder case. The following year, Carter announced their breakup.

In the beginning, the pair appeared to have a happy relationship and frequently collaborated on YouTube videos. Over time, as their connection progressed, problems began to arise, and break-up-to-make-ups occurred.
Carter accused Warren of “love-bombing” her amid their split in 2022. Despite their chaos throughout the year, they were seen locking lips in December, which didn’t last long.
