When you think about Young Money, you think about the iconic artists who redefined Hip-Hop under the label’s banner. We’re talking about legends like Nicki Minaj, Tyga, and Drake, who continues to rep the culture today.  Led by Lil Wayne, under the Cash Money Records umbrella, and helm of Birdman, the Young Money roster also included Jae Millz, Gudda Gudda, Mack Maine and more.

Back around the time when Lil Wayne had us on chokehold after Tha Carter III; his ability to also recognize talent was superb as well.  The original Young Money lineup brought us timeless records like “BedRock,” EveryGirl In The World,” and “Steady Mobbin” — tracks that still hit hard and spark instant nostalgia.

Still, it’s been over 15 years since that original Young Money wave, and the good times are seemingly over for the dynamic trio plus a few.  Wayne, even sold the masters of the Young Money catalog to Universal Music Group reportedly as part of a $100 million dollar deal back in 2020.

But with the release of Tha Carter VI, Lil Wayne is ushering in a new era.  A fresh Young Money roster has been unveiled with some new faces and a few familiar ones as well. This time, the spotlight is on a new generation of artists including Jay Jones, Lil Twist, Allan Cubas, Domiio, Poppy, Lucifena, Euro and Cory Gunz.

Sure, Lil Wayne has been with some of these faces over the years but there’s something distinct about this new 2025 Young Money roster entirely. The energy feels different.  The stakes are high and the excitement is growing, but it’s intriguing that only Jay Jones is the only one to appear on Tha Carter VI.

Let’s take a closer look at the new Young Money roster and what each artist brings to the table.

Meet The New 2025 Young Money Roster

Jay Jones

Born Ronald Jones, Jay Jones hails from the same iconic neighborhood as Lil Wayne — Hollygrove in New Orleans, Louisiana. That alone speaks volumes. Also add to the fact that he’s the son of J-Dawg Black Menace, a New Orleans raping legend and then you will understand that the expectations are high.

Fortunately, Jay Jones delivers; he’s been grinding since 2011, laying the foundation with projects like Only If You Kool Enough. His luck shined through in 2017 when he caught Wayne’s attention, and since then, he has been steadily proving his worth with hard project releases like 2000 Hollygrove and Kill Mode 2.

Jay Jones’ latest project is Almost Forgot Who I Was.

He appears on Tha Carter VI single, “Hip-Hop” as well.

Allan Cubas

Allan Cubas was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, though his roots stretch deeper — his dad is from Honduras while his mom hails from Mississippi. His love for music started early, thanks to his dad regularly playing the guitar around the house.

However, interestingly, Allan’s first call wasn’t singing, it was writing. He got drawn into rap battles, where he sharpened his pen and passion. It didn’t take long before Allan started finding his way into melodic, soulful sounds, where he effortlessly combines Spanish and English to add flavor to his music.

When asked about his creative process, he said:

“I have this thing where I’m always twirling a pencil around. I always have it with me and it’s not that I’m using it to write, it has no point on it… see, I just twirl it and that’s where all my imagination stems from. I get into a creative zone.”

And he keeps it real:

“I smoke throughout my sessions… I’ll smoke and listen to the beat. It’s a process.”

For Allan, one of the biggest moments in his career came in 2022 when he officially signed for Young Money. Not that he wasn’t already dropping decent tracks like Cupful and Show Me, but that Young Money stamp? That was a dream come true.

Since then, he’s been holding it down with songs like Inseguro, Sativa, and Camera (with Lil Wayne). Allan Cubas brings a smooth balance to the roster; he is the kind of artist who can kill it even while floating between rap and R&B.

Domiio

Also coming out of the New Orleans music scene is Domiio, who’s been steadily gaining momentum and traction in 2025. The buzz really picked up after Lil Wayne shared Domiio’s freestyle on TikTok, giving him a major co-sign from the GOAT.

But the hype isn’t just because Weezy posted him — Domiio’s own talent speaks volumes. His remix of the iconic Young Money anthem “BedRock” has also been making waves on Instagram.

Domiio is that artist that can bring versatility and flare that fits into the Young Money DNA and we will be here for it.

Poppy H

After Lil Wayne publicly referred to Poppy H as his son, fans and media started digging into their relationship. While it’s now clear that Poppy H isn’t his biological son, he was raised and heavily influenced by the legendary rapper. That influence is evident in PoppyH’s music and artistic direction.

Despite being early in his career, PoppyH has already made impressive moves. One standout achievement is his feature on the NBA 2K25 soundtrack with the track For Win, a collaboration with 504IcyGrl.

Beyond that, he’s dropped several solid projects including Voodoo Baby and Rollin with the Krewe. His latest release, “Stuffing The Trunk” is a captivating piece of melody rap.

Euro

Euro isn’t a new face in the rap game; the Rhode Island-born artist started as a Christian rapper before shifting into the secular scene.

He later caught the attention of Lil Wayne and joined the Young Money crew back in 2013. However, despite his early momentum and a co-sign from one of the greatest in the game, Euro’s journey hasn’t been smooth.

Many fans and industry insiders believe his career was overshadowed by the infamous fallout between Lil Wayne and Birdman. Nonetheless, Euro hasn’t let setbacks define him. He’s stayed consistent, working to reshape the narrative around his artistry.

After dropping his debut project, Don’t Expect Nothing in 2019, he recently returned with Lost Files — a collection of previously unreleased tracks.

We think, Euro deserves to heard and we are not alone. Lil Wayne himself had strong words of praise for Euro, saying he’s someone who will “chop you up from your fking neck to your motherfking ankles.”

Lucifena

A former member of the You Only Live Once band, Lucifena caught Lil Wayne’s attention for the electrifying presence she brings to every track. Starting her musical journey as a rock band frontwoman at just 11 years old, she always had a passion for powerful sound and raw performance.

Later in life, she took a shot at American Idol. While she didn’t take home the crown, the experience gave her the exposure and momentum to keep pushing her career forward.

What truly sealed the deal for Weezy was her single, Tyrant. Although the song is no longer on streaming platforms, it made such a strong impression on the Cash Money legend that he jumped on the track himself — adding not just a verse, but a guitar solo as well.

In Lil Wayne’s words, she’s “an unbelievable artist” that fans need to hear for themselves to truly understand her magic.

Lil Twist

Also known as Christopher Lynn Moore, the Dallas-born rapper has Young Money DNA flowing through his veins. He’s been in the game since the age of 10, kicking things off with his debut single Texas Twist-a local hit that held the No. 1 spot in Dallas for weeks at the time.

Lil Twist first caught Lil Wayne’s attention during a concert in Tyler, Texas, where he opened the show. His performance was so impressive that Wayne flew him out to Atlanta to see what the young talent was really made of.

In 2011, Twist earned a spot on the XXL Freshman List, and from there, it’s been a series of bangers and high-profile collaborations. One standout was the viral Twerk song featuring Justin Bieber. He also worked with big names like Miley Cyrus and 2 Chainz, which shows his ability to blend across genres.

Beyond music, Lil Twist flexed his versatility with an appearance on the Disney Channel animated series Fish Hooks, voicing the character Brandon Bubbler.

His last major project was the Young Carter mixtape, released in April 2017. While he faced some legal troubles between 2013 and 2017, those setbacks don’t define him. If Lil Twist stays focused, he’s got the talent and legacy backing to stage a powerful comeback.

Cory Gunz

Peter Cory Pankey Jr., better known as Cory Gunz, is arguably the most recognized name among the new Young Money roster. The Bronx, New York native made a massive impact with his unforgettable verse on one of Lil Wayne’s biggest hits, “6 Foot 7 Foot.” That moment alone solidified his name in the Hip-Hop community.

The son of Peter Gunz originally signed to Young Money in 2010, Cory’s journey has been filled with more than just music. He also starred in MTV’s reality series I, which featured notable figures like Nick Cannon. In 2013, fans got more of Cory’s lyrical prowess when he featured on R.I.P. To The Competition, a mixtape by Dirty Diana.

In 2013 he dropped his debut mixtape, Datz WTF I’m Talkin Bout, which included appearances from Busta Rhymes, Charlie Rock, Mack Maine, Wiz Khalifa, and Juicy J, among others. Cory has kept his pen sharp over the years with projects like Gunz x Bars and the Loosie Pack series (1 & 2).

Among Young Money’s current roster, Cory Gunz stands out as a seasoned lyricist. For the younger artists on the label, his presence is more than just symbolic — it’s a chance to grind alongside a vet who’s been through it all.

His latest single, “Bag” was released in June featuring Queens rapper Grafh. A lyrical exercise only a veteran could dish.

“Bag” serves as the official lead single from Gunz’s upcoming project Loosie Pack 4, the highly anticipated fourth installment of his fan-favorite Loosie Pack series, releasing soon.

While no announcement has been made in regards to a new Young Money album, or any collaborations with the old Young Money roster, there’s still excitement about what’s to come with this new roster.  Stay tuned.
