Furthermore, the police discovered the body in a state of decomposition. A girl named Celeste Rivas, who was 15 years old at the time, was later recognised as the person whose body was found.
The victim, Celeste Rivas, was apparently reported missing on April 5, 2024, by her family. The date of death was stated to be September 8, despite her being dead prior to that. According to E! News, the records from the medical examiner’s office did not indicate the cause of death. The body is suspected to have been in the car for some time and was cut into multiple parts and placed inside a plastic bag.
Following an investigation, it was discovered that the vehicle had been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills and had been hauled to an impound facility, where it had resided for at least a month. As part of the hunt for Rivas’ killer, the LAPD investigated a home in Hollywood Hills that Burke, a key suspect in the crime, had occupied. They seized a few things as evidence in the ongoing investigation, including a computer.

The artist was on a tour throughout North America and Europe for his debut album, Withered, when the news of the Los Angeles investigation broke out. He last performed in Minneapolis on September 8, and the tour started in August and is supposed to end on November 4th.
