Finesse2Tymes is currently facing legal issues as a result of his arrest with several drug possession charges that occurred yesterday in the state of Texas. This is his second legal issue this year, following an arrest earlier this year in May.
Ricky Leshay Hampton, better known by his stage name Finesse2Tymes, was taken into custody in Dallas-Fort Worth on October 20, 2025, and charged with a variety of offenses, including those relating to drugs. There are allegations that he tampered with the evidence.
Records of Finesse2Tymes arrest indicate that he was taken into custody on Monday with charges including possession of marijuana, possession of prohibited drugs, and other offenses are among the allegations that have been brought against the defendant. Additionally, he is charged with tampering with or falsifying physical evidence.
It was discovered that Finesse2Tymes was in possession of forbidden things (drugs included) while inside a correctional facility, increasing his charges. It was reported by the authorities that he was found in possession of narcotics belonging to many categories of punishment, including tiny quantities of chemicals that might include everything from ecstasy or hallucinogens to cocaine or fentanyl.
The rapper from Memphis is presently being kept in custody at the Harrison County Jail. It has been verified by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office that he is being detained without bail until the outcome of the ongoing hearings.
In light of the fact that no bond has been set, it is possible that Hampton will continue to be detained in custody while the matter is being investigated. As of this moment, neither Finesse2Tymes nor his legal team has published any public remark on the situation.
Additionally, he has a history of being charged in 2018 with aggravated robbery, which arises from his involvement in a shooting that occurred in an Arkansas nightclub. The “Overdose” singer was taken into custody in May of 2025 on a charge of violating the terms of their probation. In a video, he described how his brother, whom he referred to as “No Love,” refused to take responsibility for his gun charge, but his friend took responsibility for him, despite the fact that his brother had no prior criminal record.
Even though Finesse2Tymes has been arrested in the past, it appears that he is having a difficult time staying out of trouble. After spending nearly four years of a five-year sentence for unlawful possession of a handgun, he was finally freed in 2022.
