Female rap has been filled with drama for quite some time now, and the girlies are still going at it. This time, Memphis native GloRilla and Miami’s own JT of the City Girls have been going back and forth online.
As mentioned on Parle Magazine’s official Instagram page, it all started when Glo mentioned JT on her latest mixtape single “Aite”. In the song, GloRilla claimed that she and Jatavia weren’t the “best of friends” but aren’t “beefin” either.
“I just pray one day the bad bitches would come together, ‘Cause Cardi and Nicki on a track would break some fkin’ records, Me and JT ain’t the best of friends but we ain’t beefin’, Know bches always havin’ ana that they keep a secret (For real), Forever clappin’ for the next b**ch, I ain’t competin’ (Never),” she said on the track.
The song caused rumors to swirl that Glo had an alleged altercation with JT, which the “Sideways” emcee addressed on social media.
“Do anybody know why glo slapped her at that award show?” Instagram user @Sashasleigh originally asked on the platform.
“SHE NEVER SLAPPED ME! EVER!!!!! EVER NEVER like y’all find y’all somebody to play with!” JT responded. She drove her point home on X saying, “I been said she didn’t! She the one went radio silent! Played into, released a song about slapping rap b**ches now it’s female unity?? CORNY!!!!!”

Things escalated, as GloRilla fired back in a now-deleted tweet saying,
“Ho shut yo dumb a** up & fix dem uglass wigs I said it ain’t no beef ho you da one with da secret animosity.”
JT immediately responded with another jab tweeting, “Ugly wigs? Bch is you dumb he? you’ll NEVER in your life be this raw he I been had fake tittys off care credit, I been that bch you just getting training wheels!”

The two continued to go back and forth on the net and Jatavia suggested that Glo used the disagreement for clout. In another deleted tweet, GloRilla even threatened to “pop up” at one of JT’s shows.
“Don’t make me pop up at one of them Backyard BBQ shows you doing. You feeling a way about SLAPPING RAP BCHES AND MAKING BAIL HO! Guess dat last run in had you thinking you da only bch I touched?”
Unafraid to back down from the threat, the “No Bars” artist replied, “COME!!!!!!!” Yikes.

She also hit GloRilla with several jabs including calling her “Glo Shiesty” and “Jealous.”
“Glo sheisty leave me alone damn little boy,” she wrote. “J E A L O U S but was in my dm crying for that remix Child!!!! They forget fast!”
Naturally, the feud went viral making it rise to the top of the trending list on Twitter. I guess we won’t be seeing a collab record with GloRilla and JT anytime soon.
