The Insecure final season is set to premiere on HBO and HBO Max on October 24th. Early in the Summer the series wrapped filming of it’s fifth and final season. The teaser has finally arrived and while we hoped to get our first look of the cast, in what will be their final appearances, it’s more of a trip down memory lane for Issa in what the series has meant for her character.

The teaser allows room for a little reflection, with Issa looking at herself in the mirror over several years. Only Issa appears in the Insecure final season teaser, and it seems to be created just for promo, without any scenes from the new season at all. But for a teaser, it will do more than enough to keep fans excited for the upcoming season.
While this is the Insecure final season, Issa has already been working on new projects. She recently premiered a reality show on HBO called, ‘Sweet Life: Los Angeles.’ Additionally, Yvonne Orji recently had her Hulu film debut with the new movie, Vacation Friends. Writer and actress Natasha Rothwell is also making moves. She is starring in HBO’s breakout Summer series, ‘The White Lotus.’
