Chris Brown Gets Into Another Heated Exchange At Lovers & Friends Festival

R&B singer Chris Brown found himself at the center of yet another altercation this past weekend. Video footage of Brown getting into a heated altercation backstage at the Lovers & Friends festival in Las Vegas has been circulating online. In the video, Brown can be seen getting into the faces of several men who appeared to be bodyguards during Missy Elliott set while his crew attempts to hold him back. Brown, looking visibly angry, screams, “I got it!” repeatedly but is unable to get past the other men.

However, Brown has since taken to Instagram to provide context for the confrontation. He claimed he was simply trying to help security clear the backstage area and protect his child who was with him. “Y’all been geeked all weekend, y’all dragging it now. It was mad people backstage and security was trying to clear everyone off the stage. People started pushing back.. I INTERVENED To let them know MY CHILD WAS BACK THERE. So y’all can keep ya narrative,” he wrote in a comment on NoirOnlineOrg’s Instagram page.

While some fans have supported Brown’s account of events, others have criticized his decision to bring his child to every show, calling it irresponsible. Additionally, some have noted that Brown didn’t address another incident that reportedly took place at his birthday party. Brown allegedly got into a brawl with Usher over Teyana Taylor at his birthday party during the weekend. Usher was said to have sustained some facial injuries during the fight.

Despite the controversy, Brown and Usher both went ahead with their scheduled performances at the festival on Sunday night. While Usher appeared unharmed, some fans couldn’t help but wonder if the rumored fight had any impact on his performance. Regardless, Chris Brown Lovers & Friends altercation has sparked renewed scrutiny over Brown’s behavior.
