The Lyle and Erik Menendez story was created from the writers of the Dahmer story.

Lyle and Erik Menendez are two brothers that murdered their parents in their home.

They grew up in Beverley Hills, California. Their mother Mary Louise “Kitty” was a former queen beauty and their father Jose was a music executive.

Lyle Menendez was 21 years old when the incident occurred and Erik was 19.

The film starts off with the 911 phone call that was made by Lyle Menendez telling the authorities that their parents  Jose and Mary Lousie “Kitty” Menendez have been shot.

This disturbing case breaks down the ins and outs of why the Menendez brothers shot their parents.

Some police say that they might have shot them based on greed due to the fact that Lyle kept buying real-estate properties after their death.

It was said that at the time Jose Menendez was wroth 14.2 million dollars, which is what the brothers inherited.

There have been many people speculating over the years that the reason as to why they killed their parents was because they were sexually molested by their father.

Lyle and Erik Menendez were convicted to this heinous crime in 1996.

Lyle and Erik served their time in separate prisons between the years of 1996 until 2018.

It’s uncertain if they are still in different prisons.

Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story is set to air on Netflix in 2024.

Although we may not know everything that has happened with this case, many of us are hoping that we are able to get our answers in this Netflix documentary.
