Selena Gomez Announces Her Latest Business Venture as The New Face of PUMA
Selena Gomez’s work ethic is unstoppable. The 25-year-old American actress and singer took to Instagram, last week, to announce to her 127 million-plus followers that she is having a kidney transplant, due to a battle she‘s facing with lupus. While she is working hard to bring attention and awareness to the autoimmune disease, she has also been in the works of a new business venture. Selena Gomez is currently the face of Louis Vuitton and Coach, but, on Monday, she posted a picture of herself on Instagram in shades, hoops, and a sports bra, which indicated that she is now a part of the PUMA family.
In a press conference, Gomez states, “Being part of the PUMA family is very exciting for me,” she continues, “PUMA has changed the game when it comes to the mash-up of athletic wear and fashion. It’s amazing to see this influence on style and culture, and I’m excited to be a part of it. I am hoping that we can create something special together. We already have some really cool projects in the works.”
According to E! News, Gomez will bring in 30 million dollars for her two-year deal with the company. The contract will give her the power to hold creative input over product designs and marketing campaigns.

She is everything that today’s female consumer is looking for in a role model,” he also mentions, “with her honesty and openness about living with lupus, she has provided an incredible example of confidence, poise, and determination for all of us.
