First settled by the Tongva and Chumash Native American tribes in the mid-fourteenth century, Los Angeles has become well known for its Hispanic culture. Los Angeles’ historic district, Olvera Street celebrates this culture and is worth a visit.
Known as the “Entertainment Capital of the World,” Los Angeles encompasses Hollywood, The Los Angeles Times, and a few other noteworthy newspapers catering to Armenian, Korean and Russian clientele, the Hollywood Bowl, the Capitol Records building, and Grauman’s Chinese Theater to name a few. With its many entertainment landmarks, there is always somewhere to visit or something to do.
Los Angeles is a large city with vast diversity and history. The city is both urbane and unmatched in its night life and attractions. Los Angeles offers a lot for the lover of big cities and will leave you wanting to come back time and time again.
