Fox Series STAR To Premiere On Same Night As Empire Season Finale

Fox has announced the premiere of its new breakout series, STAR, expected to be the talk of the new year.  The Fox series Star will make it’s debut on Wednesday December 14th, the same night as the Season 3 Finale of Empire.  The night is being dubbed an amazing night of music and drama, and with Lee Daniels at the helm, we expect it not to disappoint.

The new FOX series STAR is created by one of the co-creators of Empire, Lee Daniels and the producer of The Whole New Truth, Tom Donaghy.
STAR  is about three young artists and their journey and obstacles as they try to survive through the music industry. The show’s tagline, Music.  Sacrifice.  Destiny. is already quite the hook.

STAR
will feature Queen Latifah, Benjamin Bratt, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady and Amiyah Scott. Special guest features in the first season include Lenny Kravitz, Naomi Campbell and Tyrese Gibson.
After the debut of STAR on December 14th, the series will return to its regular scheduled programming on Wednesday January 4, 2017 at 9 p.m., with weekly episodes every Wednesday at 9:00 p.m.
