When New Jersey born, Brooklyn based producer and DJ, JayRicks asked his girlfriend to be the leading lady in his new music video, she figured it would be a great opportunity. Shooting a video with her boyfriend seemed like a win-win, especially for a song called, “Love”. After shooting several scenes around the city, they ended up sitting at a pizza shop for the last shot, where the biggest surprise would cap a fun day. And it was all caught on camera for the JayRicks Love music video.
This is really a love story, wrapped in some good music.
Jonathan Ricketts and Stephanie Marchena have been dating for five years now and anyone that has met her knows she’s her boyfriend’s number one fan, supporter and hype woman!
Ricketts, who performs under the moniker JayRicks, began DJing as a serious venture back in 2014. Back in July, for his 31st birthday, he released his debut EP, JR:01. “Love” was one of the four songs on the project. The song features Mathis Picard, a French-Malagasy pianist, composer, producer, and bandleader.

Stephanie clearly said yes, and the happy couple are making plans for their future together.
