The long awaited All American spin-off series finally has some solid details. While fans were introduced to the characters and the concept behind the show in a sneaky back door pilot episode in season three of the original series, there has been very few details otherwise. The spin-off is titled, All American Homecoming, which comes as no surprise since the episode was called, “Homecoming”. Now we know the All American Homecoming series premiere will take place on Monday, Feb. 21, 2022 at 9 p.m. ET, right after All American returns to resume its fourth season.
Simone Hicks is all on her own, kind of… Of course she has her baby. And Jordan appears in the trailer, just on FaceTime. If you saw the “Homecoming” episode then you met most of the cast to the All American Homecoming series. Geffri Maya is back as Simone, back on her journey to become a tennis star. Damon Sims stars as baseball star Peyton Alex Smith. They attend HBCU Bringston University in Atlanta. There is clear chemistry and with a new start, maybe something there clicks… maybe.
Kelly Jenrette (Simone’s aunt Amara Patterson), Cory Hardrict (baseball coach Marcus Turner), Sylvester Powell (Damon’s childhood friend JR), Camille Hyde (Bringston tennis superstar Thea), and Netta Walker (Keisha, Bringston University’s unofficial mayor) all of whom appeared on the “Homecoming episode,” will all be featured as cast members on the spin-off series.
