The Little Mermaid (2023) will be available digitally starting on July 25. Get primed to journey “Under the Sea” with Halle Bailey (starring as Ariel) and her pals.
Fans of the Disney live-action version will be able to buy the movie on a variety of streaming services just two months after its May theatrical premiere to watch it whenever they want before the DVD and physical Blu-ray release on September 19.
Take in the enchantment of Rob Marshall’s film as he reinvents the beloved animated classic from 1989 for a modern audience.

The Little Mermaid‘s talented cast includes Halle Bailey as the title character, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Daveed Diggs as Sebastian the crab, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, Javier Bardem as King Triton, Awkwafina as Scuttle, and Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric.
For those who are unfamiliar with the well-known fable, Ariel, King Triton’s youngest daughter, is rebellious and determined to learn more about the world above the water in The Little Mermaid.
While on land, Ariel falls in love with Prince Eric, who shares her desire to travel and experience new things. While it is unlawful for mermaids to associate with humans, Ariel strikes a pact with Ursula (the sea witch) to live on dry land, endangering both her life and her father’s throne in the process.
Starting on July 25, viewers will be able to watch the movie on a variety of platforms, including Vudu, Prime Video, and Apple TV.
Bonus materials such as sing-along versions of the movie, song breakdowns, bloopers, and more will be available when the Blu-ray and DVD formats are released in September.
