Recently R & B singer Monica confessed that her relationship with her longtime boyfriend/ fiancé and the father of her children, Rocko had indeed ended, and they had a Break-up. Monica made the official announcement via twitter saying “…Thank u everyone for all the love you’re sending. @Rocko4Real is a great father and we will continue to love and parent our children. The Rest is a private matter between @Rocko4Real and I. He is a good person. We all make mistakes. Even separated we will always be family. I say thank u again to u all. And as I live and learn I grow. Don’t feel sorry for me just pray for me. Gods got it. Have a great day.”
In other relationship news it seems that the reason for the break-up between R & b stars Letoya Lucket and on again off again boyfriend Slim Thug was a real life version of the Usher “Confessions” song. When asked on formspring—the popular question and answer site—“wut REALLY happened with you and letoya”, Slim replied by saying, “I cheated and had a baby with another chick it all went down from there”. Straight to the point, I hear its like that all the time on Slim’s twitter.
On the reality television circuit, Grammy award winning singer, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, a member of the group TLC is starting a reality show on VH1 called “What Chilli”. It’s about Chilli on a quest to find love with help from Tionna Smalls, a relationship guru. The show is set to air on April 4th. A recent casting call asked for single men “between the ages of 25 and 40, who have the sex appeal, personality, good looks, success and heart to date a major music artist who is looking to find her true love.”
Singer Faith Evans will be staring in a new reality show called, “It’s All About Faith”. The show will basically follow Faith in her return to music after a 5-year absence. Viewers will see Faith working on her 6th album as well as juggling being a mother and wife. Faith is married to manager Todd Russaw.
FYI Toni Braxton will premiere her reality show “Braxton Family Values” on Bravo later this Spring while Brandy and brother Ray J debut their show “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business” on VH1 on April 11th.
