Yung Joc Brings Label To Polo Grounds Music/Jive Records
After dealing with legal situations with Block Entertainment and Bad Boy, Yung Joc has finally found a new label home for his Swagg Team, which includes his two talented groups, GS Boys and Hotstylz. Yung Joc and his Swagg Team are now signed with Polo Grounds Music/ Jive.
Although Joc didn’t release his third album as anticipated on Bad Boy South last year, he did release a mixtape, called Grind Flu, featuring artists like Gucci Mane, Chris Brown, Bobby Valentino, Nikki Minaj, Shawty Lo, and DJ Khaled. His Swagg Team artists were already distributed through Jive and last year the GS Boys had the number one hit, “Stanky Leg” while Hotstylz released the single called “ Lookin Boy”.
With Bad Boy, Joc’s first album, New Jack City made its debut at number three on the Billboard chart. His second album, Hustlenomics also reached number three on the charts in its first week.
Yung Joc is now working on a new album called, Mr. Robinson’s Neighborhood.
Now that he is signed with Jive, he is building up his empire with his Swagg Team as well as establishing his own solo brand.
