Hopefully, The Dream has learned his lesson in dealing with these R & B divas.  It’s been reported that The Dream, born Terius Nash, has reached a divorce settlement with Christina Milian after their very short-lived marriage.  The Dream will have to pay Milian $1 Million dollars in spousal support for every month of their marriage, which totals $4 Million!  Apparently, the settlement was based on The Dream’s finances at the time of the marriage and not on the lower earnings he is making now.

Don’t forget there is also a child involved in this situation. Aside from The Dream’s divorce settlement with Christina Milian, he has to pay an additional $5,000 a month in child support to his daughter Violet.

This is The Dream’s second divorce after a failed marriage with Nivea, with whom he also has three other children.  When that relationship ended, The Dream claimed that his lack of a family upbringing hurt his ability to be the head of a family.  The Milian situation began abruptly and unfortunately for him ended just as quickly.  There were even reports that he was contemplating suicide after the Milian split.

Add up the spousal support and child support from both failed relationships and I think it’s safe to assume that The Dream will be releasing a new album next year, although he announced earlier this year that Love King would be his final album.  With The Dream’s financial nightmare of a divorce settlement, he can’t afford a break.
