For the second straight year, Trey Songz and Kevin Hart headlined the Now Playing Concert for Essence Festival 2015, a kick-off event that brought out 50,000 plus individuals.
Christian rapper Lecrae opened the show and put got the audience on their feet, but it was Trey who set the crowd on fire for a memorable first night.
Kevin Hart, premiering new material as part of his What Now? Tour didn’t allow photography or video so (unfortunately) there’s no coverage of him, but there is definitely plenty of Trey to go around.
Trey performed a slew of hits in his hour-long performance, bringing tracks like “Foreign,” “Nana,” “Slow Motion,” “Touchin, Lovin” and soooo many more on stage.
The crowd went crazy–of course, with the ladies at the forefront of it. Trey, without a doubt, brought his A game like always, bringing down the house in a very major way.
