Following the success of The New Edition Story, BET has decided to bring forth a two-night Bobby Brown miniseries, titled The Bobby Brown Story.

Written by Abdul Williams and executive produced by Jesse Collins (The New Edition Story), the two-night, four-hour biopic miniseries will map the singer’s career as a founding member of popular R&B group New Edition to his run as one of the most successful solo artists of the eighties and nineties. The Bobby Brown Story will be divided into two hours on each night and will depict how a once teenage heartthrob transformed into Hollywood’s portrayed bad boy.
At this time, it is unclear as to when The Bobby Brown Story will premiere, but we’re assuming the production is already into play. Recently, it was announced that TV One would be producing a biopic, chronicling Brown’s daughter, with pop icon Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina.
Bobby Brown has endured many highs and lows, wins and losses in his life. However, we’re hopeful that his story will inspire many around the world, letting people know that, no matter how hard it gets, there is always room for progression! The 48-year-old has still managed to rise above, and this is why his story needs to be heard.
